Amanuensis 2 and 3 artists proofs (julia goodman)

The Amanuensis pieces in part, are inspired by my time in the house and my interest in local texture and left behind marks.

based on a sample of cross writing found at the Inverness Library/Jack Mason Archive., orginal letter from 1844. Cross writing was a technique used to make the most of the piece of paper and luxuriate in both the reading and writing of the letter. The beauty that comes with this type of resourcefulness reminds me of the house.
