Rediscovering now what it is to sculpt. The stone is there, you can mimic its contours, or you can use its form and fragility as a raw material for creating your own contours. So simple a concept, but when you start to actually exert your will, and see the stone yield, then you begin to understand the depths in which the Masters swam.
