The 1st Annual Residency Exhibition

Reform Gallery presents the 2008 J.B. Blunk Residency Exhibition in Los Angeles, CA. The inaugural exhibit celebrates four fruitful residencies by Nicole Buffett, Cameron Kelly, Jacob Tillman and Michael Cran. Under the specific circumstance of living and working in J.B.'s handcrafted home and studio, surrounded by National Park in West Marin, the work generated speaks not only to the expression of the individual, but to the paradigm Blunk formed in his unwavering pursuit of creative freedom. The artists were encouraged to expand upon their established art practices, responding to the historic and contemplative qualities of the landscape. The show exhibits for only one month, so please visit soon! All sales go directly to the Residency program which will continue to support artists and maintain J.B.'s legacy.

March 19th- April 19th, 2009
Reception Thursday, March 19th, 6-9pm

Artist Michael Cran read from his book 'Gravity and the Arc of Being', a collection of poems that he wrote this past fall during his residency.
